I am Rogers, the webmaster of Woospy, a blog creator, and a normal E-commerce businessman, who has been running Amazon and Shopify stores for more than 3 years.
"Starting my own e-commerce business is the most correct and best decision I have ever made in my whole life."
Before entering the e-commerce field, I had several working experiences, working as customer service, salesman, project manager, etc. I have to say that these working experiences made who I am and taught me to offer the customers the best service as long as I can. Until the outbreak of the virus at the end of 2019, I became unemployed. During the tough time, my friend Liam suggested that I should try to sell products online. After one year's hard work, the money I earn through my online stores finally gets much more than my previous job, so now I'm determined to put all my time and energy into my own E-commerce business.
“E-commerce is quite interesting, the more you study, the more you feel fascinated.”
If you're a beginner, I bet you're having the same confusion as I was then. When I first made up my mind to start an e-commerce business. I had no idea about how and where to start with. I didn't know whom I could turn to for help, which platform to register, what kind of products to select, and how to do marketing in limited capital.
When the business improved slightly, I was puzzled again by how to analyze the data in order to scale it up. Reducing the cost and increasing the profit was always been my priority. However, with all those energy-consuming jobs, I couldn't run my business with high efficiency. One day, a thought occurred to me. I couldn't help thinking whether there were any tools that could save my time and energy to help my business grow rapidly. This idea was the first big step I took to build Woospy.
"I believe in the "Feynman Technique", which means that I think by sharing the things I just learnt, I can get the hang of them quicker."
To be honest, I created Woospy for 2 main reasons:
- The most important while the simplest reason is that I want to offer my help and get some help. I want to share good tools with people in need just like myself earlier. There are over 300 tools and software I used displayed on Woospy, while I am now also updating the site by collecting more tools. Therefore, I'm hoping someone can also share your tool list with me because the tools on my list are apparently not enough for solving all problems we may meet.
- Besides, I'm really glad I can have a place to write down my experience of trying out these tools no matter if my opinions about those tools are 100% right or not. Constant sharing obviously can help me summarize the scattered knowledge points into an integrated system. I probably will write down dozens of articles to introduce each tool on my site very soon, hoping that can help you guys understand better.
(The tools on Woospy are currently collected by me alone. Most of them are free to use while others charge. One thing you have to know is that I don't get paid for listing all the tools, which means I do this only for passion of sharing, instead of money)
These days, I've become more and more obsessed with the E-commerce field. I have been studying other related concepts, such as "Dropshipping", "Affiliates", "SNS ads", "SEO" and so on. Hope we can make huge progress together at the time and make a difference in our own fields in the near future.
— Hi, I am Rogers, the webmaster of Woospy, a blog writer and a normal E-commerce businessman. I have been running Amazon and Shopify stores for more than 3 years. During the period of running my own stores, I've been super aware of the exhaustion and helplessness of doing e-commerce business sometimes. This is the main reason why I created Woospy. There are over 300 tools and software I used or knew collected on this site. I believe these tools, software, and tutorials can provide other sellers with a lot of inspiration and improve their efficiency to some extent.
Bro, hope you can enjoy my collection here! Hang on there and the best time is coming!
